This page is for the parents who set Koamoli up and manage it. The questions that come up most often are answered below.
If you cannot find what you need, write to support@esviralabs.com. Including your device model, your operating system version and, where possible, a screenshot helps us help you faster.
This page is updated as the app changes.
Koamoli is built to be set up by a parent. On first launch:
What you enter stays on the device. Koamoli has no account system: there is no email address, password or login.
The app is built for a parent to start a session, not for a child to start one alone.
Screens meant for adults — settings, meal history, purchases and any link out of the app — sit behind the parental gate.
The gate is a simple check that makes it hard for a young child to reach those screens alone. It is not a parental consent mechanism in the legal sense, and it is not a security measure.
It may not stop an older child who wants to get past it, so we suggest keeping the device's own controls switched on as well:
In the Parent Area you can update your child's name, age and food preferences, and look back over the meal history.
Part of Koamoli is free to use. Koamoli Plus is an optional subscription that opens up more content.
What is included is shown on the purchase screen before you buy. That screen sits behind the parental gate.
The App Store sets the price for each country, and the price shown at the moment of purchase is the one that applies. We state no price on this page.
If a free trial or introductory offer is shown, its length and terms are the ones on the purchase screen. We do not promise such an offer will exist in every country or for every account.
Payment is taken by Apple. Koamoli never sees your card details.
If you have reinstalled the app or moved to a new device, you can restore an active subscription:
Restoring works through the store account that made the purchase. A subscription bought on a different account cannot be restored onto yours.
Restoring does not bring back the child's profile, stars or progress. Those are stored on the device and we hold no copy.
If restoring does not work, check which Apple Account is signed in on the device, then write to support@esviralabs.com and tell us what happened.
Because the subscription runs through Apple, viewing, changing and cancelling it are all done in the App Store subscription settings.
You can also go straight to that screen at: https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions
Cancelling stops the next renewal. The period you have already paid for normally stays open until it ends.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
We cannot cancel your Apple subscription for you: only the store account holder can do that, in Apple's settings.
Refunds are also handled by Apple under Apple's policies. If you think you have been charged in error, use Apple's refund process.
All sound in the app is recorded audio that ships with it. Koamoli does not access the microphone and records nothing.
If there is no sound, try these in order:
If none of that helps, write to support@esviralabs.com with your device model and iOS version.
Koamoli has no child-profile server. The following is stored on the device:
We cannot reach any of it and we keep no copy.
If your device's backup settings include app data, this data may be included in a device backup. Backups are managed in the device's own settings.
Deleting the app removes its local data according to the platform's own behaviour. We cannot recover it for you, because we hold no copy.
When you reinstall:
If you want to keep the profile when moving to a new device, use the device's own backup and transfer features.
Deleting the app while a subscription is running does not cancel it; to cancel, go to the subscription settings.
Koamoli contains no advertising, no behavioural analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no social features. It does not ask for camera, microphone, photo library, contacts or location access.
The one exception is meal reminders: when a parent turns a reminder on from Settings, Koamoli shows a notification scheduled locally on the device. These notifications are not sent from a remote server, carry no marketing, and never use the child's name.
So that a subscription can work, Apple and RevenueCat process technical and purchase information. The child's name and age are not sent to those providers.
The details are in the Koamoli Privacy Policy, linked at the bottom of this page.

Including these helps us help you faster:
We read every message and reply as quickly as we can. We do not offer round-the-clock support and we do not promise a response time.
Please do not send us passwords, payment details, or information about your child that is not needed to answer your question.
