This Privacy Policy explains how the Koamoli mobile application handles information. It is written for parents and guardians: if you are setting the app up for a child, it is addressed to you.
Koamoli has no accounts and no child-profile server. What you enter about a child is kept in the app's own storage area on the device and is not sent to us.
There is one exception, and it is the subscription. When Koamoli Plus is purchased, Apple and RevenueCat process technical and purchase information so the subscription can work. Sections 7 and 8 set out exactly what that means.
Please read this policy together with the Koamoli Terms of Use.
Koamoli is a mobile application published under the Esviralabs brand.
In this policy, “Koamoli”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Kürşat Şen Kitapify operating under the Esviralabs brand. Koamoli is a product, not a separate legal entity.
Depending on the applicable law and the processing activity, we are the data controller or the equivalent responsible party for the processing described here. Apple and RevenueCat describe their own roles for the information they process in their own systems.
This policy covers the Koamoli mobile application and the support we provide by email.
It does not cover:
If you notice a difference between what this policy describes and how the app actually behaves, please write to us. The app's behaviour is the truth of the matter, and we will correct the text.
Koamoli is designed for children roughly aged 3 to 7 and is built to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian.
A parent creates the child's profile, chooses the settings, and is the only person who makes a purchase. Screens meant for adults sit behind a parental gate.
A parental gate is a simple check placed there to make it hard for a young child to reach those screens on their own. It is not a verifiable parental consent mechanism. This policy does not present it as one, and the app does not claim to have obtained such consent.
Because Koamoli does not create an account and does not send a child's profile to us, we do not hold a child's name, age or in-app activity on our systems.
When a parent sets Koamoli up, the app writes information into its own storage area on the device. That information stays on the device. It is not sent to an Esviralabs server, because Koamoli has no profile server.
Stored on the device:
We cannot reach any of this. The app gives us no channel to read it or take a copy of it.
If your device's own backup settings include app data, this data may be included in a device backup. Whether a backup is taken, where it is held and how long it is kept is decided by the device and its operating system, not by Koamoli.
Koamoli does not:
Every sound in the app is recorded audio that ships with it. Koamoli does not listen to, record or transmit anything from the microphone.
This does not mean nothing leaves the device. Subscriptions run through Apple and RevenueCat, which requires the technical and purchase information described in sections 7 and 8.
One more exception is meal reminders. When a parent turns a reminder on from Settings, Koamoli shows a notification scheduled locally on the device, and asks the operating system for notification permission to do so. These notifications are not sent from a remote server, carry no marketing or advertising, and never use the child's name in the notification text.
Koamoli does not request:
If your device ever shows a prompt asking for one of these on Koamoli's behalf, do not accept it and write to support@esviralabs.com: that would not match how the app is built.
Koamoli Plus is an optional subscription. A purchase is made inside the app, from a screen behind the parental gate, through Apple's in-app purchase system.
Payment is taken by Apple. Koamoli never sees or stores card numbers, billing addresses or payment details. What the app learns is whether access to Koamoli Plus is currently active.
To keep track of that access, RevenueCat generates or uses an app user identifier for the installation. This identifier is anonymous in the sense that it carries no name, email address or profile detail.
It is still an identifier: it is associated with an app installation and a purchase, and it allows the same installation to be recognised again. We do not claim that it is impossible to link it to a device or to a purchase.
During a purchase or a renewal, the store and RevenueCat process the technical information a subscription needs in order to work. This typically includes:
Koamoli does not send the child's name, age, food preferences, meal history, learning history, Stars, Closet, Garden or Food Explorer state to RevenueCat or to Apple.
The app does not call RevenueCat's login, email or profile functions with the child's identity.
These are the only third parties Koamoli relies on to operate.
Distribution of the app, purchases, billing, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
Apple decides what it collects and how long it keeps it. We do not control that and we do not state a retention period on Apple's behalf; Apple's own privacy policy governs it.
RevenueCat provides the subscription infrastructure that tells the app whether the subscription is active. It processes the information described in section 7 on our behalf, under its own terms and privacy practices.
RevenueCat's retention periods are set by RevenueCat and described in its own documentation. We do not invent them here.
When you write to support@esviralabs.com, your message passes through our email provider's systems. You decide what to put in that message, and we suggest not including details about your child that are not needed.
We do not work with advertising networks, data brokers or behavioural analytics companies. We do not sell personal information.
If we add or change a service provider in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page.
Information stored on the device is used only to make the app work for the child using it: to greet them by name, to remember stars and progress, to keep food preferences, and to show a parent the meal history.
Subscription information is used to unlock Koamoli Plus, to restore a purchase on a new device or after a reinstall, and to resolve billing problems.
Support messages are used only to answer you.
We do not use any of this to build advertising profiles, and we do not use children's activity for marketing.
Where the KVKK or the GDPR applies, our processing of subscription and support information rests on:
Information kept on the device is not collected by us; it is under the control of the owner of the device.
Information stored on the device stays there until it is deleted inside the app, where the app offers a reset for it, or until the app is uninstalled.
Uninstalling removes the app's local data according to the platform's own behaviour. We cannot recover it, because we hold no copy.
If your device backup contains app data, deleting the app does not delete that backup. Backups are managed in the device's own settings.
Records of a subscription are kept by Apple and by RevenueCat for as long as their own policies require. We do not set those periods and do not state them here.
Subscription information held on our side is limited to what is needed to provide the service, to keep accounts, and to meet statutory retention obligations.
We keep support correspondence for as long as the request needs and for any period the law requires, then delete it.
You can ask us to delete information we hold by writing to support@esviralabs.com. For requests about Apple's or RevenueCat's own records, we may have to point you to that provider's process.
Esviralabs is based in İstanbul, Türkiye.
Apple and RevenueCat are established outside Türkiye and operate infrastructure in more than one country. Subscription-related information may therefore be processed outside your country and outside Türkiye.
Where the KVKK or the GDPR requires a transfer mechanism, we rely on the mechanism the relevant provider makes available in its own terms, typically standard contractual clauses. The details of those mechanisms are set out in that provider's documentation.
Information that stays on the device is not transferred anywhere by us.
We cannot guarantee that every country offers protection identical to your own.
Information on the device is protected by the device itself: the app keeps its data in its own private area, which the operating system separates from other apps. A screen lock on the device and up-to-date system software make a real difference here.
Connections to the store and to RevenueCat are encrypted.
No app, and no method of storage or transmission, is completely secure. We do not promise absolute security and we do not claim it.
If a security incident affects information we hold, we will make the notifications the law requires. If you find a vulnerability, write to support@esviralabs.com.
Koamoli is made for young children and is designed to be submitted to Apple's Kids Category. Its whole design rests on a child's information staying on the device and never reaching us.
We do not ask a child for a name that reaches us, an email address, a photograph, a voice recording or a location. A parent enters a first name or nickname and an age, and both stay on the device.
The app has no advertising, no behavioural analytics, no social features, and no way for a child to communicate with anyone through it.
Screens meant for adults, including any link out of the app and any purchase, sit behind a parental gate. As stated above, a parental gate is a barrier for a young child; it is not a verifiable parental consent mechanism.
We do not claim certification under COPPA, the GDPR, the KVKK or any similar framework, and nothing in this policy implies such certification.
If you believe a child's personal information has reached us in a way this policy does not describe — for example inside an email — write to support@esviralabs.com and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access personal information, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive a copy of it, and complain to a supervisory authority. In Türkiye these rights come from the KVKK; in the EEA and the UK, from the GDPR.
Most of the information the app holds is on your own device: you can see, change or delete it there. You do not need to send us a request for it, because we hold no copy.
For subscription information, we can act on requests about the records we hold. Requests about Apple's own records must go to Apple.
Write to support@esviralabs.com. We may need enough detail to find the relevant record — for example the store account used for a purchase. We do not ask for a copy of an identity document as a matter of routine.
We update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top of this page shows when the text last changed.
If a change materially affects how information is handled, we will not simply change the date: we will make the change clear in the app or on this page.
For questions about this policy, or a request concerning personal information:
You may also contact the data protection authority in your country. In Türkiye this is the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).
